Insights lead to more robust business and personal decisions

Insights arise from the capacity to gain an accurate and deep understanding of someone or something.
Being insightful is a powerful act of seeing inward into a situation and to appreciate its nature.
We enable leaders to gain insights into themselves, their teams and their organisation.
However, merely being insightful does not necessarily change anything.
Using insights to make different and more robust business decisions will deliver significant change and create the opportunity to achieve completely different results.

As business leaders, we often assume that facts, theory, data, or modelling is what informs our decisions. Therefore, if we get these right, then the decisions we are making have to be right.

Working in todays environment, that constantly and unexpectedly changes does not allow this approach to result in robust decisions.
Past knowledge and experience needs to be consciously thought about in terms of its relevance and applicability to the situation being faced.
This is why gaining new or updated insights, into oneself, colleagues, teams and even the overall business is proving to be a cornerstone to success.
